Our Trainers

Justice Duerksen

Justice created a street soccer ministry in his church’s parking lot while he was still playing college soccer. From his first group of “graduates” three boys signed professionally, including Matthew Hoppe, who scored a hat-trick at 19 years old in the Bundesliga. Justice’s unique and charismatic training received a quick rise in popularity, and the small church ministry transformed into the Free Play organization of today.
Justice played NCAA Division 2 & 1 college soccer where he helped win multiple conference titles, conference championships and a Final 4 appearance with UC San Diego, along with various individual awards. After college, Justice played in the lower professional leagues of Europe, before fully committing his time to training the next generations at Free Play.
Justice still enjoys playing with his youth and professional training groups. His faith in God and his family are the most important pieces of his life. Justice speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese and German, and travels around North and South America and Europe for his work and philanthropy.
